An Ocean of Persuasion by dadarulz An Ocean of Persuasion by dadarulz
Originally this was meant for the Good vs. Evil contest, but I never finished it on time. Then I re-used the sketch and completed it for the ERRI project, a collection of illustrations from Montreal artists.
It was one of the two required exclusive submissions, but it was dismissed for the final print. So... Here it is.

I will be submitting the exclusive image that did get selected further in the month. Until then, Here are some links concerning the project.

Judging from the books and articles around her, she seems to be rather educated or at least interested in world politics...but if so, why the heck does she have a copy of Dianetics next to her computer...it just doesn't seem to fit...
But regarding the title of the picture and the other stuff around her, perhaps its meant to show that wherever we look, people are trying to persuade us to follow their lead through their works and appearances...whether they are scientists, journalists, politicians or plain morons... or perhaps I'm overinterpreting as usual ;-)

Regardless of that great picture, i especially like the angle... and the mess, looks just like my room while I'm working on a paper ^^

She's basically trying to gauge all possible political and religious influences. If you look closely, there is even "The Secret" on the lower right.
Thank you for your comment and your favs :)
